“The Earth is the cradle of humanity, but humanity cannot stay in the cradle forever.” – Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, founder of Russian space programs

The End Of Conflict takes place in the same setting as the previous stories with many of the same characters but fifty years after The Construct. Its focus, as the title suggests, is the risk to humanity’s future given its predilection for conflict. The Companions however find that its destiny is not set in stone, but something else.

Again, to help with imagining the characters, I have included my own “casting” using well-known actors. The casting is not based on their respective bodies of work or anything to do with their personal lives, but purely on their physical appearance which I found useful during the writing process but subsequently grew attached to.
